Want an alternative to this? I tried this and it kind of worked, but not fully, so I selected the mesh I wanted, did tab to edit, pressed a to select all the faces, then mirrored it on the x global which resulted in the same result and worked perfectly. Anyways, great simple video, especially for me, "I'm not very good with blender" love that it gets straight to the point too. Thank you!

Hmm the Uv for the plug on top of the barrel is just a bunch of scribbles. Probably screwed up in the modeling portion somehow lol.

Its not working in my project. Does the scene needs to have baked light, or it works with real time lights? Also, it need this postprocess package that you downloaded, or the standart URP volume works?

I'm having an issue with my UV map export to Gimp. Some of the lines on the UV map appear faded after import, however the PNG file looks fine when viewed in any other medium. Gimp is disagreeing with something and making most of the map hard to see. I can provide images of the problem if anyone is prepared to reach out and would greatly appreciate any help!

Having some difficulty hitting F to generate faces at 6:11. I'm selecting a single vertex and hitting the key, but faces that I cannot select, delete or alter are appearing on the opposite vertex at the same time and meeting in the middle. I still have to press F several times to cover the entirety of the barrel, but then the lines intersect in a kind of lattice. It doesn't seem to be too much of an issue right now but I am concerned it's going to make UV unwrapping a nightmare. I have tried merging vertices by distance and it has not solved the problem. Very frustrating and would appreciate any advice anyone has to help sort this out. EDIT: I am a moron. If you are having a similar issue, ensure that your "mirror" modifier is selected for Z AXIS ONLY. I was effectively mirroring any one-sided change to my barrel and hadn't noticed because all previous ammendments had been symetrical anyway.
